Aromas including cigar box notes, espresso, black fruits, chocolate. This has that typical young Cabernet austerity. Very fine tannins too and very good length with deceptive grip. The structure of this wine is unmissable and impressive. It is young, but it is ever so promising. For current drinking from the Macclesfield range the whites are probably
